The gras lamp as it was subsequently called was astounding in its simple robust and yet very ergonomic design. The lampe gras 214 wall lamp black satin by lampe gras has been designed by bernard albin gras. Bernard albin gras designed the lampe gras series for offices and industrial use already in 1921 and the lamps soon became popular not only in professional but also in residential use. Made of sturdy and stylish steel lampe gras 222 features an adjustable arm and rounded lampshade.

Lampe gras 222 wall lamp is a member of the iconic lampe gras collection designed by bernard albin gras and relaunched by dcw éditions. There are neither screws nor welded joints in the basic form. As with other lampe gras the wall light versions feature hinges and rotating arms for unrivalled functionality. The stem can move up and down the rod to raise or lower the light.

A classic from 1921 by architect and designer bernard albin gras a legend of the 20th century. Simple in conception the lampe gras 213 wall sconce from dcw editions was intended to fit into as many rooms as possible by minimizing its use of wall and floor space. The lamp gras no 213 wall light here in the versions with a black body and differently coloured lampshades is a re edition of a true classic. First designed by bernard albin gras in 1921 this update of the famous fixture first features a thin extendable rod supported by a small downward pointing wall mount.
