Instead of wasting space with just two bike trays the vagabond simply incorporates the two bike mounts into a roof cargo rack. Kuat vagabond x roof cargo basket and 2 bike carrier vx201 will mount to almost any vehicle roof rack crossbars including round square aero elliptical and most factory crossbars that are up to 4 1 2 inches wide x 1 3 4 inches tall. That ended up being overkill however made me feel more confident as it was my first use. The rack was pretty solid.
