Inspect the fuse that protects the door lock circuit to ensure it is not blown.

This happened to both key locks.
An inoperative power door lock can be caused by the switch solenoid wiring problem or mechanical problem within the linkage of the affected door.
If you have a second key remote and you haven t already done so check to make sure this works so you can be certain it isn t a problem with the door lock functionality.
If all of the door locks are inoperative start your diagnosis at the fuse box.
This is a less likely scenario but it is still a very possible occurrence.
If the backup remote is able to unlock the doors then you know that it is a problem with the key fob and not with your vehicle s locking system.
If your key turns and stops short of locking completely bulky weather stripping around the door could be throwing off the door s alignment.
