Remove the wire shield screw from the bottom of the ice maker. There is a kit 8201756 that will correct this problem. Thaw the frozen line. Flush the lines with a solution of one part vinegar and one part water.

It s totally covered in ice. Push the ice maker door to the left so that the right pin disengages from the pivot arm then lift the pin out of the pivot and remove the left pin. Open the freezer door. The water line that carries water from the valve to the ice maker can become frozen. Place a cup under the line going towards the back of the refrigerator then activate the water dispenser. Simply pull the two blue tabs apart to unhook the line. In some refrigerators you may need to add a type of insulating piping material to insulate the water lines if they continue to be frozen. Check the water lines in the back of the refrigerator to see if there is a visible kink or clog from the hard water that flows from the house line system. The ice maker inside my freezer froze over.

So why did it happen in the first place. Sometimes the tab that holds the flapper door will break.
