In the uconnect you can disable the light feature that flashes when locking unlocking but not the chime. Turn the jeep on but don t start it acc mode the diagnostic screen will briefly show the seatbelt warning indicator. You ll still get warnings on the dash but this will disable the chime. Just open the door with the keys in the ignition look under the dash on the driver or passenger side.

The reason for the light flash and chime sound is i presume to let you know whether you have locked unlocked the vehicle.
